None of us want to face the thought of a day when someone we love passes away. The first few days are so difficult. All you want to do is curl up with your grief, but there’s so much to arrange. I can assist you with all you need to do.

As a Funeral Celebrant I am not your corporate, black power-suit. I can be that, if you want, but I‘d rather celebrate the colour of your loved ones life. Yes, the passing of a special person in your life is sad, there’s no denying that, but what of the wonderful happy memories. Wouldn’t you rather focus on the light? If that is your wish, then talk to me. I will help you organise a memorable service that reflects and celebrates life.

After meeting with you and listening to the stories you have to share, I will prepare a personalised and unique service to remember and honour a life well lived.

I recognise the importance of strong and respectful family relationships and the social and cultural significance of the funeral service. With this in mind I am happy to incorporate any symbols or rituals that you wish to include.

I will support you in all aspects of the preparation and delivery of the ceremony. I am happy to provide services at funeral homes or in other locations. It’s important for you to feel happy and comfortable with the location.

Do you need assistance with:

• the selection of music, poems, readings…?
• advice and assistance in the preparation of an audio-visual presentation?
• the writing and preparation of orders of service or booklets
• liaising with other parties involved in the service such as the venue coordinator and the funeral director

I can help you with all of these aspects of the process.
